| The American Textile Machinery Association is the only trade association devoted solely to the advancement of U.S. based manufacturers of textile machinery, equipment, and parts. Founded in 1933, this non-profit corporation has 100-plus members representing more than 80% of total industry volume. Education is a primary function of the association. ATMA regularly sponsors technical seminars previewing major international exhibitions, as well as workshops geared to the specific needs of member companies. Examples include an ITMA preview and sessions on customer service, sales and marketing and international standards. The association plays an active role in industry exhibitions. With Textile Hall Corporation, ATMA co-sponsors the American Textile Machinery Exhibition International (ATME-I). |
